About us
Richard Harvey Wines Ltd was created by Master of Wine, Richard Harvey, to offer some of the finest wines from that region at competitive prices. Over the last few years, the range has expanded to include many of the best wines from leading estates in other wine producing regions - Burgundy, the Rhone valley, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, California and South Africa.
Domaine Saint Amant
Domaine Saint Amant sits in the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail in the Southern Rhône Valley, at an altitude between 450 and 550 metres, making it the highest domaine in the Rhone. The estate comprises 32 acres of small terraces scattered around the mountain, above the village of Suzette, on a limestone, marl and rocky soil, facing east and south, away from the heat of the plain. Cultivation is done with respect to the very biodiverse environment - no herbicides, no pesticides and the winemaking process is gentle and precise, preferring time to fine the wines rather than technology - no winemaking manipulations, no outside influences. The wines reflect what nature is willing to give.
Made with 95% Viognier and 5% Roussanne, La Borry has aromas of white flowers, almond and honeysuckle and flavours of apricot and peach – typical of Suzette’s terroir.
